revolution national Pest Council apprendiceship program
Pest Control:
Revolution National Pest Council Apprenticeship Program Program is designed to familiarize students with the concepts of the pest management field and apprenticeship program. Students learn the basics of pest biology and environmental awareness in relation to insecticides and rodenticides. Students also learn the process of effective pest control solutions and methods of providing clients with professional customer service and effective pest monitoring technician.

(400 Hours of Training -10 Weeks)
Applicants must be: -18 years or over -Must have a clean driving record -Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Program Outline:
Apprentices under the supervision of a qualified Pest and Termite Control Technician will gain the diversified, experience and training to develop into a skilled worker proficient in all the work processes of a pest and termite technician. The apprentice will be trained in the use of new equipment, materials and processes as the industry changes. The Related and Supplemental Instruction (RSI) consists of 4000 hours, which includes a mandatory 160 hours pre apprenticeship class room training and orientation class.
COURSE PREREQUISITES:
Successful completion of the Pest and Termite Control Technician. Good driving record, Pass Live Scan and 18years of age or older. Pest and Termite Control Training School Candidate Physical Agility Test, CPAT. (PPE, wearing personal protection equipment, gloves, respirator and goggles. Wearing and carrying a backpack sprayer and B&G sprayer, Ladder handling.

GOALS:
Students completing the Pest and Termite Control Technician training and technical instruction will:
Apply new knowledge and skills to obtain and maintain employment as productive worker/ learners while continuing to progress through the program at predetermined periods or stages of advancement within specified timelines to the Pest and Termite Control Technician Apprenticeship Program.
